Flowers in bloom -

The weather was on our side a month ago as we ventured to the St Kilda Botanical Gardens for an afternoon shoot. The sun was out, the flowers were at their best and we had lots of laughs. Thank you to my extended family clients - the Stangers.

What is your style?

Before you have your photo shoot, before you decide what to wear and how to do your hair, have a think about the style.
What type of photos do you wish to see as the end product.
Colour and or black and white.
Posed, natural, fun and laughs while capturing the moment.
Not to forget your setting, beach, park, home. Even a plain brick wall or coloured background can create a dramatic effect and add to your photographs.

Back to Autumn

A big thank you to my clients of the Autumn leaves. After a very long wait for the leaves to change, we couldn't have asked for a more magical afternoon. It was a pleasure to photograph your fun afternoon with the kids.

Dandelions Winter

Today is the first day of winter and with a beautiful frosty morning I stepped outside and was inspired by this dandelion covered in frost. As the sun came into the garden, the frost turned to droplets and captured the sun.

Finally, Fraser Macleod gets his turn in the spotlight and doesn't he make the most of it - those gorgeous big eyes!

Thank you Meg, Angus, Zoe, Pip and Fraser. You have been wonderfully patient, waiting for the sleeping boy to open his eyes and I have had lots of laughs with you.

Beach Spinning

...who doesn't love to spin . that is all kids do and with the wide open spaces of a huge beach, spin as long as you like.
We have just come back from our bi annual trip to NZ and I captured these great photos of my daughter spinning and twirling along the sand.
